Consistency in Lime Shares: JSE Winners & Losers (Feb. 25, 2014)

On the main market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, trading activities resulted in 19 stocks changing hands – 5 experienced price gains, 6 declined in price and 8 traded firm (no movement in price).

Lime JALIME enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing by 2.63% to end the day at $0.39. Conversely Caribbean Cement Company Ltd. suffered the day’s greatest loss, declining by 5.03% to close at $4.72

A total of 9,479,571 units were exchanged valued at over $152,843,173National Commercial Bank of Jamaica Ltd. was the volume leader with 7,402,250 units (78.09%followed by Desnoes and Geddes Ltd. with 901,564 units (9.51%and LIME with 495,924 units (5.23%).
