19.75% increase in Hardware & Lumber’s Share Price: JSE Winners & Losers

Trading on the main market of the JSE resulted in 22 stocks being traded of which 8 advanced (winners), 5 declined (losers) and 9 traded firm (no movement in price).

H&L sharesMarket volume amounted to 12,256,695 units valued at over $134,760,034. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd. was the volume leader with 6,961,501 units (56.80%) followed by Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited with 2,585,000 units(21.09%) and Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Ltd. with 1,000,000 units (8.16%).

Hardware & Lumber enjoyed the day’s highest gain, increasing by 19.75% or $1.6 to end the day at $9.70; whilst LIME suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling by 12.77% or $0.06 to close at $0.41.
