Sagicor Jamaica stocks close higher: JSE Winners & Losers

Trading on the main market saw 20 stocks being traded, of which 3 increased in price, 8 declined and 9 traded firm (no movement in price).

A total of 1,025,535 units crossed the trading floor valued at approximately $11,994,180. Scotia Group Jamaica was the volume leader with 200,740 units (19.57%) followed by National Commercial Bank of Jamaica Ltd. with 162,325 units (15.83%) and Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited with 159,005 units (15.50%).

Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited recorded the day’s highest gain, increasing 0.51% or $0.05 to end the day at $9.85; whilst Lime suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling by 6.38% or 0.03 to close at $0.44.
