Trading on the JSE  main market, resulted in 14  stocks being traded of which 10 experienced price gains (winners), 2 declined in price (losers) and 2 traded firm (no movement in price).

A total of 346,891,622 units were exchanged valued at over $318,880,906. LIME was the volume leader with 314,039,800 units (90.53%) followed by Desnoes and Geddes Ltd. with 30,133,100 units (8.69%) and Jamaica Broilers Ltd. with 934,557 units (0.27%).

Hardware & Lumber experiences the day’s highest gain, increasing by 11.00% or $1.10 to end the day at $1.20; whilst LIME suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling by 2.38% or $0.01 to close at $0.41.

Desnoes & Geddes lead market with 6.44% stock price increase: JSE Winners & Losers

Trading on the JSE main market, resulted in 20 stocks being traded of which 4 experienced price gains (winners), 9 declined in price (losers) and 7 traded firm (no movement in price).

A total of 8,707,046 units were exchanged valued at approximately $28,859,034. LIME was the volume leader with 5,609,239 units (64.42%) followed by Jamaica Broilers Ltd. with 1,032,609 units (11.86%) and Supreme Ventures Limited with 748,800 units (8.60%).

D&G jamaicaDesnoes and Geddes Ltd. was the day’s biggest winner, increasing by 6.44% or $0.29 to end the day at $4.79; whilst Mayberry Investments Ltd. suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling by 7.00 % or $0.14 to close at $1.86.
