Ciboney Group stocks surge 33.3%: JSE Winners & Losers

Trading on the JSE  main market, resulted in 22 stocks being traded  of which 8 advanced, (increased in price) 5 declined (decreased in price) and 9 traded firm (price remained constant).

A total of 4,441,906 units were exchanged valued at approximately $20,605,404. LIME was the volume leader with 1,570,376 units (35.35%) followed by Ciboney Group Ltd. with 1,235,982 units (27.83%) and National Commercial Bank of Jamaica Ltd. with 524,529 units (11.81%).

Ciboney Group Ltd. experienced the day’s highest gain, increasing by 33.33% or $0.02 to end the day at $0.08; whilst Pulse Investments suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling by 6.44% or $0.29 to close at $4.21.

In Wednesday’s trading session, the Main Jamaica Stock Exchange activity resulted from trading in 20 stocks of which 4 advanced, 7 declined and traded firm.

Lime shares continued its upward trend, increasing by 5.88% – from $0.34 to $0.36.
