Two World Bank Group surveys in 2023. Field contractor on the Respect Survey in Jamaica. Teaming partner on the Enterprise Survey in Jamaica and Barbados.
In 2023 a World Bank team needed tablet fieldwork in Jamaica, and a second World Bank Group survey needed a Jamaican partner across two countries. Balcostics did both. They are separate contracts, with separate roles.
On the Respect Survey the client was the World Bank and the country was Jamaica. The mode was CAPI. Our role was field contractor. We supported the programming the tablet questionnaire needed, recruited interviewers, and supervised them in the field. The job was the Jamaican field operation on that survey.
On the Enterprise Survey the client was the World Bank Group, on the A2F line. Coverage was Jamaica and Barbados. The mode was CAPI. Our role was teaming partner, under a contract signed on 14 February 2023. We worked with the lead. Interviewers used tablets. Barbados was part of the coverage the survey named. The office we work from is in Mandeville, Jamaica.
